Our philosophy

We believe a well-considered practice takes time — a resource that is as finite and precious as our lives — and time spent caring for ourselves is time spent well. Join us on this journey of well-being at our centre in Malcha Marg, Delhi.

We’re focussing on our physical space to create a very holistic experience, one where the mood is immersive and meditative. The interior is punctuated with warm, earthy tones and locally sourced materials, straddling the idea of rootedness in ancient India and the growing mindfulness of modern India.

“I wish every individual goes back to the self and experiences the beauty of the body, mind, and intellect. All that I have experienced in my journey of yoga has been extremely joyful. These experiences aren’t mine alone, they rightfully belong to every practitioner.”

Dr. Varun Veer

Our founders

The idea of Lifeyoga took form well before it came into existence. A young boy was introduced to the ancient science of yoga by his father, a seasoned practitioner of Ayurveda. With this initiation, Dr. Varun Veer — now a teacher and lifelong student — began his journey of yoga.

Along with his partner, Dr. Veer and Dr. Tanu Singh have set out to bridge the gap between our natural state of being and the demands of the modern world. They’ve combined decades of knowledge and experience to emphasise on the joy of daily practice, however simple or complex.

“To know yourself and to move your life through that knowledge, is the path to supreme bliss.”

Our name

The practice of yoga begins on the mat but extends far beyond it. It’s a way of life – natural, free flowing, authentic. The gratitude, humility and deep understanding of the self that we’ve experienced while being on the mat has naturally seeped into our everyday life. That’s the beauty of this practice.

The essence of this ethos is in our brand name – Lifeyoga. Where both life and yoga are interchangeable, interlinked, and simply an extension of the other.

For one, for many

  • “The purity and health of the physical body are achieved when all five subtle sheaths – annamaya, pranamaya, manomaya, vigyanamaya and anandamaya – are balanced through intentional and regular yoga practice.”

  • We believe that yoga is for everyone, and we make it accessible and relevant to all. Your needs may differ — some seek a beautiful body, some hope for respite from a stressful routine, while others simply find stimulation in newness. Lifeyoga offers a lot of everything, for you to experience at your own pace, under our guidance.

  • Our space and our services put our community at the heart of everything we do. It’s all about creating a culture and environment where our community can consistently thrive, feel they belong, and feel joyful about.

  • "At LifeYoga, there is no paucity of space, the lights are warm and soothing, and the earthy tones of the interiors lend it a calming effect, which is a prerequisite for any wellness centre."

  • For Dr Veer, the main goal of the space is to “help more people from different lifestyles experience the joy of yoga — physical, meditative and lifestyle-led.”

  • Lifeyoga’s significance in Delhi is manifold. It certainly provides a physical space for individuals to practice yoga, but its impact goes deeper. It serves as a community anchor, a place where people come together in pursuit of health and harmony.

  • An urban oasis in Chanakyapuri surrounded by a thicket of trees, this bespoke yoga studio combines aesthetics with asanas

  • Lifeyoga is more than just a yoga center, it’s a sanctuary for holistic well-being and forms a joyous community, making it a truly unique and valuable addition to Delhi.

  • Integrating yoga into business travel policies: enhancing wellness for professionals on the go.

  • Lifeyoga is about building connections, self-discovery and making yoga a joyful part of their lives.

  • The aim here is to bring the essence of goodwill and selflessness through Yoga to a set of people beyond and above a centre and make it accessible to everyone.

  • The northeast corner is known as Ishan (the corner for Ishwar or God). This direction is where Earth's powerful magnetic energy is generated. Therefore, this is an ideal location for meditation.

  • This isn’t simply a centre; it’s a retreat for the mind, body, and soul. As you inhale and exhale in unison, feel the stress of urban life melt away.
